Tiger & Bunny's Wild Tiger Rubber Mask Offered in Japan

The ANIMATE store chain for character goods began advertising a "Wild Tiger Rubber Mask," inspired by the Tiger & Bunny television anime series, that it plans to sell in Japan this winter. According to the advertising blurb, "if you put on the mask, you too will be a hero!"

Sunrise's Tiger & Bunny anime centers around heroes for hire — super powered beings known as NEXT who wear sponsor logos while fighting crime on live television. Viz Media streamed the anime in the United States as it aired in Japan.

1st Digimon PSP Game's Rival, Heroine Revealed

The December issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine revealed the protagonist's rival and the heroine of the upcoming Digimon World: Re:Digitize game on Friday. Bandai Namco Games will ship the "digital monster-raising role-playing game" as the franchise's first PSP game next year.

Nicolai "Nico" Petrov is both a good friend of the nameless protagonist and his rival. He is passionate with a strong sense of justice, and his Digimon is the silent, stoic Mirage Gaogamon. Akiho Rindō is a cheerful and curious girl whose Digimon is the gentle Garudamon.

The main character is a 14-year-old boy whose hobby is riding road bikes. Thanks to a certain incident, he is lost in the Digital World — the world where the data creatures known as Digimon live. Suzuhito Yasuda, the illustrator of Durarara!!, is designing the characters.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE Episode 3 SUB

Google Mulls Buying Yahoo [REPORT]

Google is mulling purchasing Yahoo and has contacted at least two venture capital firms to help buy the company’s core business, according to a report.

Google and prospective partners have held discussions, but haven’t put forth a formal proposal to buy the search giant, according to The Wall Street Journal, which cited “a person familiar with the matter.”

As the story notes, any such deal is likely to raise red flags among antitrust regulators. Google’s not the only one rumored to be interested in buying the troubled Yahoo. Microsoft, which has a 10-year search deal with Yahoo, is also said to be interested.

Google Pays $100M for New California Office

The Googleplex is spreading with Google’s $100 million purchase of a 240,000 square-foot office center in Mountain View, Calif.

The acquisition, reported in the Mercury News and confirmed by Google, is Google’s largest property purchase in Silicon Valley this year. The property, called The Landmark at Shoreline, will house about 960 workers.

Google, which added 2,600 employees in its most-recent quarter, bringing its total workforce up to 30,000, has spent $225 million in 2011 alone buying 15 properties in Mountain View, according to the Mercury News. Last year, Google also bought a 2.9 million square-foot office building in New York City.

The gull-winged DeLorean is on its way back to the future -- 2013, that is. Details are scant so far, but it'll certainly travel faster than 88 miles an hour, with its 260hp electro-power plant blasting it to a top speed of 125mph. Apa Itu Hard Disk?

Hard disk dalam bahasa melayu cekera keras adalah sebuah komponen perangkat keras yang menyimpan data sekunder dan berisi piringan magnet.Cakera keras diciptakan pertama kali oleh syarikat IBM, Reynold Johnson di tahun 1956. Cakera keras pertama tersebut terdiri dari 50 piring berukuran 2 kaki (0,6 meter) dengan kelajuaan mencapai 1.200 rpm (rotation per minute) dengan kapasita penyimpanan 4,4 MB. Cakera keras zaman sekarang sudah ada yang hanya selebar 0,6 cm dengan kapasitas 750 GB. Kapasitas terbesar cakera keras saat ini mencapai 3 TB dengan ukuran standar 3,5 inci.

Sejarah komputer telah berkembang 4 generasi iaitu generasi pertama pada tahun 1940 hingga 1959 tahun ,generasi kedua pula pada pada tahun 1959 hingga 1964 ,generasi ketiga pula pada tahun 1964-1980 dan ke generasi keempat adalah 1980 hingga sekarang.

Generasi pertama pada tahun 1940 hingga 1959

Komputer dihasilkan adalah elektronik sepenuhnya. Saiznya agak besar (hampir menyamai sebuah bilik tidur) dan dikategorikan kepada Kerangka Utama (Mainframe), la menggunakan tiub vakum untuk memproses dan menyimpan maklumat. Tiub vakum berukuran seperti mentol lampu kecil yang cepat panas dan mudah terbakar. Jumlah tiub vakum yang diperlukan amat banyak agar tidak menjejaskan keupayaan komputer. la juga menggunakan tenaga elektrik dengan banyak. Pada tahun 1946, menyaksikan komputer elektronik sepenuhnya direka oleh Dr. John Mauchly dan Prosper Eckert telah mencipta ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator And Calculator). ENIAC mengambil ruang sebanyak 140 meter persegi, berat 30 ton, menggunakan 130 kilowatt tenaga dan 1800 tiub vakum. Ingatannya disimpan diluar dengan menggunakan suiz dan wayar. la berupaya melakukan 5000 pencampuran dan 300 pendaraban sesaat. la dikendalikan oleh hanya jurutera terlatih. John Von Neumann akhirnya mencadangkan penggunaan Konsep Aturcara Tersimpan iaitu komputer menyimpan ingatan di dalam storan utama. la menggunakan nombor binari.Dr. John Mauchly dan Prosper Eckert sekali lagi mencipta EDVAC (Electronic Discrete Variable Automatic Computer) yang mengurangkan penggunaan tiub vakum. la lebih cekap dari ENIAC dan menggunakan Konsep Aturcara Tersimpan. EDSAC (Electronic Delay Storage Automatic Calculator) yang menggunakan raksa dan tiub vakum untuk menyimpan ingatan telah dicipta. UNIVAC1 (Universal Automatik Calculator) ciptaan Dr. John Mauchly dan Prosper Eckert mula dikeluarkan pada tahun 1951 adalah komputer pertama yang digunakan untuk memproses data perniagaan. la juga menggunakan raksa untuk storan. 

Generasi kedua pada tahun 1959 hingga 1964

Transistor dan diod digunakan bagi menggantikan tiub vakum walaupun ia mudah terbakar. Cara baru untuk menyimpan ingatan iaitu Teras Magnetik diperkenalkan. la menggunakan besi-besi halus yang dililit oleh litar elektrik. Keupayaannya memproses lebih besar. la mula menggunakan bahasa pengaturcaraan peringkat tinggi iaitu FOTRAN(1954) dan COBOL(1959) bagi menggantikan bahasa mesin. Minikomputer dihasilkan. la lebih murah dan lebih kecil berbanding dengan Kerangka Utama. la digunakan bagi tujuan memproses data perniagaan, universiti selain di bidang ketenteraan. (Contoh : DEC PDP-8, IBM 7090 dan IBM 7094) 

Generasi ketiga pada tahun 1964 hingga 1980

la bermula apabila IBM (Internatinal Business Machine) memperkenalkan Sistem/360 iaitu Kerangka Utama yang mengandungi alatan-alatan yang lengkap bagi memenuhi semua keperluan pengaturcaraan pada masa tersebut.Sistem/360 memperkenalkan ciri baru Sistem Pengoperasian iaitu Konsep Perkongsian Masa. Sistem ini adalah satu kumpulan aturcara yang mengurus dan menyelaras keseluruhan operasi komputer, la memudahkan penggunaan komputer. Disimpan secara kekal dalam Ingatan Utama (ROM) komputer atau storan sekunder. 

Konsep ini membenarkan penggunaan banyak stesen secara berasaingan dan dikawal oleh Sistem Induk dimana pemprosesan boleh dilakukan serentak pada sesuatu masa walaupun stesen yang lain digunakan. Supercomputer seperti Cray-1 diperkenalkan bagi mengkaji cuaca dan alam semulajadi. 

Generasi keempat pada tahun 1980 hingga sekarang

Penyelidikan microelektronik telah berjaya menghasilkan Litar Bersepadu/Terkamir atau Cip dimana beribu transistor dipadatkan didalam kepingan empat segi silikon melalui proses Pengamiran Skala Besar (Large Scale Integration). Cip mula menggantikan transistor sebagai bahan logik komputer. MicroKomputer merupakan yang terkecil didalam keluarga komputer digital mula dinasilkan seperti Apple II, IBM PC, NEC PC dan Sinclair.Bahasa pengaturcaraan BASIC, Pascal, PL/1 C dan Logo mula digunakan. Kebanyakan komputer dibekalkan dengan bahasa secara "bina-dalam" di dalam ROM untuk bahasa BASIC. Bahasa ini merupakan bahasa yang paling popular untuk microkompuler. Perisian tambahan juga diperkenalkan bagi membantu penyelesaian masalah. Laptop, Notebook, Handheld dan Palmtop diperkenalkan. la lebih kecil dari Microkomputer serta mudah dibawa ke mana-mana. Internet iaitu Sistem Rangkaian yang luas menggunakan protokol TCP/IP diperkenalkan sebagai rangkaian perkongsian maklumat secara global. (Processor 6086,80286, 80386,80486, Pentium, Celeron, Pentium II, Pentium 111 dan Pentium 4)

Gia's List : 7 Anime Drivers Who Will Probably Get You Killed

Like any random assortment of people, the anime character population has its fair share of bad drivers. Sure, some of them are technically skilled with a vehicle, but if they show a callous disregard for the life and health of their passengers, they might as well have failed every driving test they've ever taken. It's fortunate that these figures are all fictional, but if they existed in real life, here's seven that you should avoid...for your own sake.

7. The Cast of Ranma ½ Apparently the one thing that would get the perpetual pedestrian characters of Ranma ½ into a car is, of course, food. The gang all competes in a go kart race to win a full-course dinner for two, and the result is disastrous. Akane forgets to switch her car out of reverse; Ryoga navigates himself straight off the track and hangs out in the pit (naturally). Shampoo and Akane knock each other out of the race by bashing their cars against one another, Mousse starts stacking up everyone's cars, and Ranma and Happosai battle over a bomb that blows up nearly every driver. The winner? Slow-and-steady Kasumi.

6. Goku (Dragon Ball Z) In the episode "Goku's Ordeal," Chi Chi demands that her husband get a driver's license, so Goku and Piccolo head off to driving school. Piccolo is a natural, it turns out, but Goku forgets how to turn on the engine, mixes up the gas and the brakes (twice), removes the steering wheel when told to "cut the ignition," nearly drowns himself and his instructor by driving into a body of water, inadvertantly challenges Piccolo to a race, and winds up blowing up both his and Piccolo's practice cars. He gets a little slack since this was his first time trying to drive a car (and he barely fits his massive muscles into the thing to begin with), but his complete lack of common sense still means he's likely to kill anyone without superhuman ability.

5. North Italy (Hetalia - Axis Powers) Once upon a time, North Italy offered Japan a ride home from a meeting, and Japan accepted. And immediately regretted it. Italy, true to form, drives incredibly fast and with a complete disdain for driving laws. In fact, when Japan asks if he's breaking traffic laws, Italy doesn't recognize the term at all, wondering if it's something to eat. By the end of the road trip Japan is wimpering in the back seat, curled up on a fetal position. (Anyone who has ever tried to drive in real-life Italy can relate.) The story has a happy ending, though: the incident inspired Japan to swear that one day he would invent a safer car. Thanks, Italy!

4. Isaac Dian (Baccano!) It's probably a safe policy in general to avoid riding with an immortal driver; after all, if they crash their car they're not the one who's going to die. Isaac, however, takes this to a ridiculous level, and it's particularly impressive because he drives a Ford Model-T, whose maximum speed is something like 45 miles per hour. It's not speed that lands Isaac on the list, it's his usual exuberant incompetence: after (intentionally) running over another character and his gang, they accidentally hit the car's owner. Isaac freaks out and puts the car in reverse...and runs over his victims again. Oops. (As it happens, at least one of those characters is also immortal, so all's well that ends well...right?)

3. Haruko (FLCL) Okay, it's not so much that Haruko is a bad driver. In fact, she's pretty skilled with her vehicle of choice, the infamous Vespa. No, the problem with Haruko as a driver is that she pretty flagrantly doesn't care about the safety of others. In fact, she doesn't even really think about others much, provided that they don't get in the way of her goals. She gets into accidents frequently and casually, such as when she pulls in front of traffic and forces the cars behind her to break so hard they flip. And the worst part? (Spoiler alert, if anyone can still be spoiled for FLCL!) Since Haruko uses her Vespa for space travel, she could theoretically drive at faster-than-light speeds anywhere she felt like. Just take the bus instead.

2. Noriyasu Seta (Love Hina) Adventurer and college professor Seta is nearly indestructible: in addition to cheerfully suffering from the body blows dealt to him by his love interest, protagonist Keitaro's aunt Haruka, Seta tends to show up by crash-landing his equally imortal van in the general vicinity. There's a small chance that his invulnerability passes on to his passengers, since his ward Sara didn't seem worse for the wear when she arrived with him, but still: would you get in the car of a guy who always shows up crashed, broken, and bleeding? Besides, instead of dropping you off at your destination he might just wander off on an expedition with you in tow instead.

1. Yukari Tanizaki (Azumanga Daioh) No one seems to take quite as much glee in their insane driving as Yukari Tanizaki, who drives like a maniac— speeding, ignoring lights and signs, and all those other highly dangerous habits of crazy drivers —and laughs it off, even with her young students as passengers. In particular Yukari inflicts such a traumatic experience on young Chiyo-chan that the poor kid starts to become car-phobic. Even the mere mention of riding with Yukari or in Yukari's car causes PTSD flashbacks, and Chiyo-chan resolves to never again ride with her beloved but, let's face it, kind of psychotic teacher. The one time it comes up, Chiyo-chan has placed herself in the slightly-saner Nyamo's car before anyone can even blink. source : Anime News Network
